I am a recent graduate from the University of Minnesota where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel Design with a minor in Retail Merchandising. Currently, I am seeking an Assistant Technical Designer position. I have direct experience working with a team to produce quality garments while using Adobe Illustrator, OptiTex, WebPDM, StyleFile, and MockShop software.

Carissa Prieve is a designer who creates lasting garments for the professional woman. With the growing trend of fast-fashion, the coexistence of both genders in the professional industry, and our roots tied to remaining "busy", her designs feature unique details with simplistic, tailored lines that offer distinctive combinations that can be paired with one another for a variety of occasions.
Select pieces designed by Carissa have been shown in exhibitions throughout Minnesota and California including: Flux Senior Fashion Show, SOL Inspirations ECO Fashion Show, Guthrie Theater, Twelve Senior Fashion Show, WAM's No White Design Challenge, and Convergence hosted by The Handweaver's Guild of America Inc. Pieces have also been published in Metro Magazine, Twin Magazine, and SOL Inspirations website/blog.
